On September 18, 2023 Sirius Music Party!(SMP!) was held at Odawara San-no-maru Hall and ended successfully. Many people attended the event and we received a lot of applause. We would like to thank everyone involved for their cooperation.
The school bands performed the pieces they had worked so hard to put together for the summer competition and marching contest in a stage environment, which also provided an opportunity to watch and support each other's performances. It was an opportunity for them to communicate more expressively.
Using the screen system in the San-no-maru Hall, the groups coordinated their performances using background images and sound equipment. Joint performances were also smoothly presented by preparing them with sound sources in advance.
Color guard and percussion workshops were held in the morning. We were able to enjoy the performance on stage with the audience. It was an opportunity to experience color guard and marching percussion, which are usually difficult to incorporate into small groups, as well as large ensembles.
